SPONGY STEAMED RICE CAKE, PutongBigas, PutongCALASIAO. CANTONESE STEAMED RICE CAKE
Ingredients:
2cups Rice flour
2tsp Yeast
1cup Sugar
2cups Water (this is the total that you will need for this cake)
1/4tsp oil - for oiling the pan
STEAM for 25-30 mins.

1/4c water - heat in the microwave for 10secs then add Yeast and 1/2 tsp (fr the 1 cup) Sugar. Rest for 10 min.
1c water - mixed with the rice flour
Add the sugar to the remaining water then microwave it 45secs
